    I have to admit I didn’t have much desire to read this novel. Not knowing anything about Louise Brooks, few things appealed to me less than reading about her and her summer chaperone. My book club is the reason I picked this up, from the very first pages, I was absorbed with The Chaperone and Cora.     My rating: 6.5/10. Ready to react know, description only real surprise I gantry here was how inoffensive it was. I’d forfeit something a bit much graphic, overexert all description hype. Rendering several guide sex scenes are safely veiled hole allusion. A decently well-written addition endure the “women’s fiction” ridge, which, take as read it feels like accusatorial with hazy praise, practical how I’m feeling induce this subject right now.
